According to the CDC, 107,000 people in the United States have died from drug poisoning related to fentanyl, yet the country fails to recognize it as the weapon of mass destruction that it is.

Prevalent substance addiction in the United States is a persistent problem - with fentanyl at the helm of the ship.  Lisa Deane, the CEO and founder of demandZERO, a nonprofilt working towards eradicating Mexican cartel fentanyl, joins the show.  Lisa founded demandZERO after losing her son in 2018 from fentanyl poisoning, and she has since make it her mission to end fentanyl's disastrous toll.

In this episode, we will discuss:

  • Is substance addiction being normalized?  What is behind the growing demand for dangerous narcotics?
  • Fentanyl's easy pathway to children and schools
  • Enforcing accountability; halting Mexican cartels and controlling precursor chemicals.
