Without knowing what substances may be inside a package, their access to fast and accurate analytical equipment is imperative.

The Rigaku ResQ family of Raman analyzers contains a large library with the the latest opioid formulations, chemical warfare agents (CWAs), explosives and their precursors, as well as pesticides and other hazardous chemicals - for the most comprehensive threat analysis tool available to the military. Because of its use of 1064 nm Raman technology, users have the ability to scan through translucent packaging, keeping them safe from exposure to potentially hazardous substances. The optional QuickDetect Mode provides a method for capturing non-visible amounts of a substance that might be found on the outside of packaging.
