About SOFIC 2022

This year's event will take place May 16-19, 2022 in Tampa, FL at the Convention Center.  Additionally, this year's event will be hybrid, which means attendees can attend in-person, virtually, or both.  Conference registration includes access to the breakout sessions, breakfast, access to the Exhibit Hall, and a reception that will take place Tuesday in the Exhibit Hall.  Attendees will have the opportunity to view the latest in SOF equipment and capabilities while visiting more than 400 vendors in the exhibit hall.  Speakers from top USSOCOM leadership and industry experts are found throughout the agenda, with opportunities to network with defense industry professionals, leadership, and government attendees.

SOFIC 2022 Exhibitor Showcase

Attendees can expect to visit with over 400 exhibitors in the sold out Exhibit Hall, that offer the latest equipment and services to the SOF community.  SOFlanding and SOFsail will be hosted outside the Tampa Convention Center where vehicles and heavy machinery will be displayed.  Additionally, a new Ignite pavilion is available across the street at the J.W. Marriott that contains over 40 small business companies showcasing new products.

Rigaku Analytical Devices will be exhibiting at SOFIC 2022

We will be exhibiting in booth #2121 in the Exhibit Hall and will have the latest in handheld chemical detection technology for special operations on display. Attendees can visit and chat with Nancy Otto, our North American Sales Director and Alda Qirici, our Sales & Marketing Administrator.

With  decades of experience in defense, public safety, and homeland security industries, Nancy and Alda can provide recommendations to visitors on how to advance Special Operation Teams' CBRNE response and available procurement programs.

Integrating Raman technology into a CBRNe toolkit allows users to identify unknown materials through packaging – providing presumptive chemical identification, such as chemical warfare agents or explosives.

The Rigaku portfolio of handheld Raman analyzers provide results in under 1 minute and have the ability to also detect non-visible amounts as well. What’s more, the analyzer is approved as part of the U.S. DoD JPEO DR SKO Program.

Users of Rigaku Raman analyzers provide a lower cost of ownership by including:

-FREE software upgrades,

-FREE library updates

-FREE access to 24/7 live reachback support
